Scale build up inside metal piping used in all commercial and industrial facilities is one of the most common and costly problems faced by facilities managers. Each year commercial buildings and industrial plants spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on chemicals and repairs associated with the problems of scale and corrosion.
The Sidon Integro™ technology injects electrons into the water with enough energy to break up the bonding which would otherwise naturally occur as the elements; namely calcium and magnesium and others, are exposed to temperature and pressure. The injected electrons carry enough energy to realign all of the different elements in the water, so they remain in their “single form”. They are therefore unable to bind with other elements and form crystals, which result in scale buildup. Since the elements stay “in solution”, they pass freely through the water system which eliminates the buildup of scale. This process also eliminates corrosion because the metal piping becomes passive since electrons are no longer exchanging with the metal.
