The trial was conducted at the SynTech Research experimental farm located in Picanya (Valencia). The
Levante area of Spain, where the farm is located, is a region where the water is extremely hard, with calcium
concentrations exceeding 200 mg/L, and where traditionally there are many problems with calcification in
pipes, irrigation hoses, and drippers for this very reason.
