Cranfield University conducted laboratory-scale testing to evaluate the impact of Sidon Water’s
Integro™ technology as a pretreatment for reverse osmosis (RO). Using synthetic freshwater, brackish
water and seawater matrices, the study measured membrane permeability (K/Ko), flux decline, salt
rejection, and the effects of contact time and storage. Across all water types the Integro™ improved RO
performance compared with untreated controls, with the strongest gains in fresh and brackish water.
