Eigenschaften:
- Einfache Installation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Energieeinsparung und Nachhaltigkeit
Can a monitored trial establish the energy and sustainability benefit at my site?
Can a trial or proof of concept be used before wider rollout?
Yes. Trials are particularly useful where the customer has a measurable problem and can establish a baseline. The trial should define the success criteria in advance and be long enough to capture meaningful operational change.
What should be measured during a trial?
The metrics depend on the application. They may include scale condition, pressure drop, heat-transfer performance, energy per unit output, maintenance time, component failures, chemical use, cleaning frequency, membrane pressure/flux, permeate quality, conductivity, recovery and downtime.
How does local manufacture affect supply-chain impact?
Wo wird Integro™ hergestellt?
The Integro™ is manufactured locally within Sidon Water’s principal markets, including UK manufacture for UK and European supply and US manufacture for the US market. Manufacturing and component sourcing are managed to maintain the required quality and certification standards.
How does the long-life, repairable design of the Integro™ support sustainability?
What is the expected equipment life?
The Integro™ is designed as a long-life, repairable asset. The treatment chamber is robust and control components can be serviced or replaced individually. Actual life depends on installation conditions and maintenance. As an indication, extended warranties are available for up to 10 years.
Can the treatment chamber be refurbished?
Yes, where appropriate. The chamber can be inspected and components such as the anode can be assessed or replaced. This supports a repair-and-refurbish approach rather than treating the complete product as disposable.
Can the Integro™ reduce maintenance, component replacement and downtime?
Where else can the financial savings come from?
Potential savings can include reduced reactive maintenance, less manual descaling, fewer blocked shower heads or valves, longer component life, lower salt or chemical consumption where conventional treatment can be reduced, reduced membrane cleaning/replacement, improved uptime and potentially lower energy use.
What makes a good application for the Integro™?
A good application has a clearly identified scale-related problem, a technically suitable water and hydraulic system, a meaningful operational or financial consequence, and an outcome that can be measured. Examples include repeated heat-exchanger scaling, blocked outlets, pump/valve fouling, frequent descaling, membrane scaling or avoidable chemical/salt use.
Can the Integro™ reduce salt, chemicals and treatment consumables?
Does the Integro™ add anything to the water?
The Integro™ does not rely on adding salt, phosphate, antiscalant or other routine treatment chemicals to the water. The precise suitability of any installation still depends on the water chemistry and the wider treatment system.
Does the Integro™ need routine consumables?
No salt, resin regeneration, sacrificial cartridge or routine chemical dosing is required for the Integro™ treatment process itself. Other parts of the customer’s water system may still require filters, disinfectants, media or conventional maintenance.
Can the Integro™ replace a water softener?
Yes, in a lot of applications it may allow a conventional softener to be removed or reduced, but not universally. A softener changes the mineral content of the water; the Integro™ does not. Any decision should consider the downstream equipment, water-quality requirements and the reason the softener was originally installed.
Can the Integro™ reduce laundry detergent or cleaning chemicals?
Customers may experience changes in cleaning performance where hard scale is reduced, and there may be opportunities to optimise detergent or cleaning-chemical use. This should be treated as a site-specific operational benefit to be measured, not a universal guaranteed reduction.
What financial savings can come from reducing scale?
Where else can the financial savings come from?
Potential savings can include reduced reactive maintenance, less manual descaling, fewer blocked shower heads or valves, longer component life, lower salt or chemical consumption where conventional treatment can be reduced, reduced membrane cleaning/replacement, improved uptime and potentially lower energy use.
How do you calculate ROI?
A proper ROI model compares the capital and operating cost of the Integro™ with the current cost of the problem and the existing treatment approach. It should include energy, chemicals/salt, servicing, consumables, labour, component replacement, downtime, waste/water use and any avoided capital replacement where evidence supports it.
Can Sidon Water guarantee a specific energy saving?
Not without a defined, measured basis. Sidon Water avoids promising a fixed saving for every site. A project-specific guarantee, if offered commercially, would need clear baseline data, measurement boundaries and agreed assumptions.
How should energy savings be measured?
Where possible, measure energy against the useful output of the system rather than comparing whole-building bills alone. For domestic hot water, a useful metric is energy consumed per cubic metre or litre of hot water produced, together with flow and return temperatures, operating hours and relevant BMS/setpoint changes.
How much energy can the Integro™ save?
There is no responsible universal percentage. Scale acts as an insulating layer on heat-transfer surfaces, so preventing and reducing scale will improve heat-transfer efficiency and may reduce energy use. The achievable saving depends on baseline scale condition, plant type, water demand, temperatures, controls and other site variables.

Can the Integro™ protect calorifiers and hot-water cylinders?
Yes. Domestic hot-water generation is a core application. Correct treatment positioning will reduce scale on heating surfaces, cylinders, associated valves and distribution components.
Can the Integro™ be used with heat pumps?
Yes. The Integro™ can be applied to hot-water systems using heat pumps where hard-water scale threatens calorifiers, plate heat exchangers, immersion elements or other heat-transfer surfaces. It should be sized and positioned against the actual hydraulic design.
