Validated by Cranfield University, shortlisted by XPRIZE and partnered with Lubron – the Integro™ continues to prove its impact.

Independent Validation at Cranfield University, UK

We are delighted to share the outcomes of the independent Cranfield University Thesis Project, which has confirmed the effectiveness of the Integro™ in redefining performance in reverse osmosis (RO) and desalination systems.

Key results include:

  • Increased permeability by up to 12%
  • Reduction in flux decline by up to 41%
  • A 30% decrease in seawater fouling
  • Lower chloride and sulphate passage, delivering cleaner, lower-conductivity water
  • Potential cost savings estimated at £1.22m annually in a 100,000 m³/day SWRO plant

These findings highlight how the Integro™ reduces operating costs, enhances water quality, extends membrane life, and lessens reliance on chemical treatments. We are proud to see academic validation align with our field experience.

Sidon Water Shortlisted for the XPRIZE Water Scarcity Challenge

Sidon Water has been shortlisted in the final stages of the prestigious $119 million XPRIZE Water Scarcity Challenge, a global competition that recognises breakthrough technologies addressing the critical issue of sustainable freshwater supply.

We are participating in Track B: Novel Materials and Methods, where the Integro™ has been recognised for its potential to transform desalination efficiency and reduce environmental impact. Reaching the final stages reflects the rigorous process we have undergone, including technical assessments and peer-reviewed validation.
