Project Status - Active
A multi-phase, multi-site programme validating and scaling Integro™ technology across Europe’s largest fitness operators.
“This partnership represents a new benchmark in sustainable facility management”
Overzicht
This project documents the structured evaluation and rollout of the Integro™ system across Basic-Fit’s European estate. What began as a small number of independently overseen trial installations developed into a phased rollout programme, supported by ongoing monitoring and performance review.
Each stage of the programme has been informed by operational evidence, third-party oversight, and real-world site performance. This page provides a chronological overview of that journey and serves as a central access point to all published materials related to the Basic-Fit project, with additional resources added as the programme continues to expand.

Timeline & Project Details
Phase 1 – Initial Trial Programme (2024)
In 2024, Sidon Water was invited to undertake an initial trial programme to validate the Integro™ technology within Basic-Fit facilities operating under demanding, hard-water conditions.
Three trial sites were selected:
- Kunstlaan
- Turnhout
- Wemmel
These sites were chosen to represent real-world operating conditions, including high hot water demand and known limescale-related challenges.
All three trial installations were independently overseen by Duijvelaar Pompen, who were Basic-Fit’s appointed water treatment and water hygiene partner at the time.
Under this independent oversight, each trial site was declared an unequivocal success.
Phase 2 – Validation and Sign-Off
Following completion of the trial phase, the performance of the Integro™ systems across all three sites was formally reviewed.
Based on the data, physical inspection evidence, and independent oversight, the trial programme was signed off as successful.
This approval cleared the way for a significantly expanded rollout.
Phase 3 – European Rollout (2025)
Following formal sign-off, it was agreed that the Integro™ system would be rolled out to a further 100 Basic-Fit sites across Europe.
These installations were completed during 2025 and were supported by:
- Continued system monitoring
- Ongoing evidence gathering
- Follow-up inspections at selected sites
This phase includes the 12-month performance review at the Wemmel site, alongside early results from additional locations within the wider rollout.
Phase 4 – Full Estate Commitment (2026 onwards)
Based on the sustained performance of the Integro™ system across the trial and rollout phases, Basic-Fit has now committed to a full estate rollout.
This programme will cover more than 1,600 sites, delivered at an approximate rate of 100 sites per quarter, commencing in Q1 2026.
This page will continue to be updated as the programme progresses and new resources become available.
