Supporting Communities. Helping Good Causes Go Further.
At Sidon Water, we believe that making a positive difference extends beyond the systems we design and the projects we deliver. Through charity partnerships, local sports sponsorships and community fundraising, we are proud to support the people and organisations working to make a difference.
Supporting the Work of AMIS
AMIS – Abused Men in Scotland supports men across Scotland who are experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse. The charity provides a safe and confidential place for men to access information, guidance and support. It also works to raise awareness, improve understanding and challenge the stigma that can prevent male victims from speaking about their experiences or seeking help.
Sidon Water is proud to support the work of AMIS. Our Managing Director, Chris Rose, volunteers directly with the charity, supporting its helpline services and contributing to wider awareness and fundraising activity. Through that involvement, we are pleased to help raise the profile of AMIS and the important support it provides to men affected by domestic abuse across Scotland.
Supporting Local Sport
Spokes Racing Team – Oscar Onley Development
Sidon Water has been proud to support the Spokes racing team during 2025 and 2026. The Dundee-based team has spent more than a decade helping young Scottish riders gain race experience, develop as athletes and progress within the sport, with former riders going on to compete at the highest levels of professional cycling. As part of our sponsorship, we made a deliberate decision not to place the Sidon Water brand on the team kit. Instead, the space was used to promote AMIS – Abused Men in Scotland – creating additional visibility for a cause we believe deserves greater awareness while supporting the riders on the road. We hope to continue the relationship through 2027, supporting a team whose focus extends beyond race results to helping young riders build confidence, discipline, experience and opportunity.

Sidon Water is proud to support Dancing to Change Lives, an annual community dance event, also known as Hafla, organised by Kimberley Rose. The event brings dancers, performers and supporters together to raise money and awareness for important causes. Sidon Water has supported Hafla for four consecutive years, providing practical support, food and refreshments for the event. Each year has supported a charity or cause, with the aim of helping as much of the money raised as possible reach the organisations being supported.

“Events like this remind us that when people come together through music, dance and compassion, we can create real, positive change. We are grateful to have played a role in supporting such an inspiring cause.”
